Our FAQs answer all your questions about ski lessons and Nauders Ski School. If you still have questions, feel free to contact us by phone or email.
How does registration work?
Registration for the lessons takes place at the ski school offices in the centre of Nauders.
Opening hours:
Monday – Saturday 8.30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1.30 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Sundays & public holidays 8.30 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
You can also book lessons online.
When and how are the lessons paid for?
Lesson fees can be paid at the ski school office in cash or by debit or credit card before the lesson begins. Lesson cancellations due to weather-related events (force majeure) are not refunded. A refund due to injury or illness is only possible with a medical certificate (balance due).
Who is liable?
Nauders Ski School accepts no liability for accidents occurring during, before or after ski lessons. Taking out accident or liability insurance is the responsibility of the participants, but is recommended by us.
When do the lessons take place?
- The following times apply to all lessons:
Sunday to Friday 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1.15 p.m. – 3.15 p.m. - Midday supervision:
12 noon to 1.15 p.m. - For private lessons, lesson times are arranged individually and flexibly.
- The guest kindergarten at Bergkastel is open Sunday to Friday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. & 1 p.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Subject to change during the high season.
Where are the meeting points?
- The following meeting points apply for kids’ lessons: B, K1 and K2 in Nauderixland at the Bergkastel mid station.
K3 – K9 & teens in the meeting area at the Bergkastel mid station. - Snowboarders meet in the meeting area at the Bergkastel mid station.
- Adults also meet in the meeting area at the Bergkastel mid station.
- Private lessons – the meeting point is the Bergkastel mid station (office).
Do we need a ski pass?
Yes, ski passes and equipment are not included in the lesson price and must be paid for separately. Kids born in 2019 or earlier require a ski pass. You can conveniently buy your ski passes online.
Who is responsible for safety?
Ski lessons
Safety is the top priority during every lesson. Wearing a helmet and appropriate equipment is mandatory.
Off-piste lessons
These lessons are led exclusively by certified mountain and ski guides. Additional safety equipment (transceiver, probe, shovel, etc.) is provided as needed.
When are the groups assigned?
Group allocation always takes place on Sunday and Monday from 9.30 a.m. at the respective meeting points at the Bergkastel mid station.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes, in case of illness or injury, but only with a medical certificate (balance due).
Where can we rent ski equipment?
With our Nauders ski rental service, you can hire all the equipment you need for the slopes and other winter sports. As participants in our ski lessons, you’ll receive everything from a single source – including expert advice, top service and premium equipment.
Are lesson cancellations refunded?
Lesson cancellations due to weather-related events (force majeure) are not refunded.
What happens if fewer than 3 participants register for a lesson?
If fewer than 3 participants are in a group, we reserve the right to merge courses or shorten lesson times. We also offer attractive, personalised upgrade options to extend to the full lesson time.
